PYP
The International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary
Years Programme (PYP), a globally recognized
framework designed for children aged 3 to 12 years. The PYP nurtures inquiry-based
learning, encouraging students to explore
real-world concepts, think critically, and develop a lifelong love for learning.
Rooted in international-mindedness, the PYP
fosters curiosity, creativity, and collaboration. Through transdisciplinary
learning, students connect knowledge across subjects, developing essential skills in
research, communication, self-management, and social interaction. The program
promotes the IB Learner Profile, shaping students into balanced, knowledgeable, and
principled individuals who take responsibility for their learning and actions.
The IB PYP is more than just an academic
curriculum; it is a framework that shapes young learners into responsible,
reflective, and engaged citizens of the world. By promoting curiosity, creativity,
and critical thinking, the PYP prepares students for lifelong learning and
meaningful contributions to society.
